About Your Builder

Gavin Havard, is the founder and builder for Arete Home Builders LLC. He came from a family in the construction industry. Growing up his father was a framing contractor and his father-in-law has owned a commercial and residential contracting business for 20+ years. He has spent the last several years in the real estate field selling and investing in real estate. He has worked in medical sales for 10 year where he has learned attention to detail and the value of partnerships in business. He holds both his commercial and residential building licenses in Louisiana. His experiences in medical sales and real estate have equipped him with the many skills including problem solving, pre-planning and critical thinking, managing teams, and delivering on expectations. He has been married to Courtney, since 2015. They have 4 children ranging in ages of 2 years to almost 14 years of age.Ready to Get Started?
